The Beach

Hello, Yesterday my Husband and I made our first trip to the beach this year. If we go straight down I-40, we can get there in a couple of hours. It was such a glorious day to be at the beach, sunny and 85 degrees. The water temp was still too cold for me, however, I don't care what time of year we are there, Kevin always hits the water. We had such a great time just hanging out on the beach all day. We went to a great Restaurant ~ Arlie's, on the inter coastal waterway. The food was excellent. I had grilled salmon on a bed of spinach, with strawberries, glazed pecans with a berry vinaigrette. Mm mm... Wrightsville beach is one of North Carolina's finest....I'm still that bead addict though, but this time I took chain maille to do in the car.....G

Hello World !

Hello World, Welcome to my world ! I am starting a new 7 year cycle in my life, and it's a good thing. The transition from the past 7 years is always hard. It's hard to let go of what you are comfortable with and then...You get a glimpse of the new you and you remember how wonderful it is to put on some new skin and get going with the change. I see the world in a whole new light right now and it's glorious. My taste has changed. I have some new colours that I love, new foods. I am an artist so that always means fresh new ideas for me. If anyone else out there experiences these cycles I would really like to hear about it. Tell me what is happening in your space. I'm hoping to make some new friends ~ So, Welcome Everyone.
